The Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 Compute Platform is designed to enhance laptop performance through its dedicated Qualcomm AI Engine, which can run large computational models locally. This enables features like improved video communications, privacy enhancements, and power optimizations that boost overall hardware performance.

AI enhances user experience by enabling features such as background blur, voice focus, advanced auto-framing, and eye contact during video conferencing. These capabilities allow for richer interactions with colleagues and customers, regardless of location, while also supporting improved security and privacy through facial recognition.

Laptops powered by Snapdragon can provide multi-day battery life, potentially lasting twice as long as traditional PCs. This is achieved by off-loading tasks from the CPU and GPU to the dedicated AI engine, which optimizes performance and enhances power efficiency, boasting 50% better AI power efficiency than competitors.
